Furry Creek is set in a lush landscape with Mountains on one side, old growth forest and the ocean at the other. As a result we set all kinds of wildlife in Furry Creek. From giant whales and Orcas to seals and Sealions as well as bald eagles.
Most recently we have begun to see bear scat in the neighbourhood and call on residents and visitors to be bear aware and keep our interactions with our furry neighbours friendly and a distance.
We remind residents and visitors to Furry Creek to not feed or approach the wildlife and to bring any waste back out and deposit in our waste bins or bring home.
