Furry Creek is magic during winter, the nature changes character around us and our community takes on a new personality. The light dims and snow capped mountains surround us, still dramatic and beautiful but more rugged and even mystical - This is Furry Creek!


Fortis BC and the SLRD will conduct a full scale mock expertise on February 13 regarding the propane tank at Olivers Landing.

The 8th Annual Holiday reception was hosted by Fine Peace on Tuesday December 17th from 4pm to 7pm at The Furry Creek Golf and Country Club where neighbors mingled with Fine Peace staff and engineers and architects affiliated with the project. Becoming Furry Creek...
In the 1870s, the creek was named after early prospector and settler Oliver Furry. Loggers worked the slopes, and a two adits from the Britannia Creek mine opened into Furry Creek where logging camps supplied timbers for mine shoring in the early 1900s.
Dams on Phyllis and Marion Lake and Furry Creek redirected water from Furry Creek to the Britannia mine for power generation. More...
